Changelog

What changed in each release of culprit-cli.

0.1.0 · 11 October 2026#

The first release on PyPI.

  • culprit init sets up an agent's repo: it saves your keys once for all your repos, detects the eval module and suite, writes culprit.toml, and can check one task end to end.
  • Settings come from the shell, then the repo's .env, then the saved setup. From a repo's .env, Culprit reads only its own five settings.
  • Noise-aware bisect with a Fisher regression gate, 95% Wilson intervals, resampling, SKIP for commits that won't install, a pinned suite, and staged, reusable baselines.
  • Explain, localise and fix: intent from Entire checkpoints, hunk and pair reverts, and fixes verified against three gates on the full and held-out suites.
  • culprit ci, culprit drift and culprit audit.
  • Reports, PR comments and cost exports rebuilt from the local ledger.
